TableSnip Privacy Policy

TableSnip is privacy-first. It does not collect, transmit, store, or sell any personal data.

What it does

• When you click the toolbar icon, it runs a picker on the current page.
• When you click a table, it reads that table locally in your browser and copies it to your clipboard as CSV, Markdown, or JSON.

What it does NOT do

• No analytics, no telemetry, no tracking.
• No network requests. Nothing about the pages you visit or the tables you copy ever leaves your device.
• No accounts, no logins.

Storage

The only thing stored is your chosen output format (CSV / Markdown / JSON), saved with chrome.storage.local on your own device. Remove the extension to clear it.

Permissions and why

• activeTab + scripting: to run the picker on the page you're on, only after you click the icon.
• storage: to remember your chosen output format.

About this website

The extension makes no network requests. This website uses GoatCounter, a privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics service, to count visits. No cookies, no personal data.
